Chicago Shakespeare Theater was my “home base” as a freelance sound designer and engineer when I moved to Chicago in late 2010. In January 2015, I accepted the newly created position of Associate Sound Supervisor and in November 2016 was promoted to Sound Supervisor when that position became available.
As Sound Supervisor I oversaw all aspects of production and facility audio, hired and assigned all crew roles, maintained all department equipment, and interfaced with all production sound designers. I also designed, spec'd, installed, and commissioned the entire theatrical sound system for CST's newest theater,
The Yard.
I left CST in September, 2018 to begin the next phase of my career.
